Therapy & true depth
There came a point where methods were no longer sufficient.
Breath.
Cold.
Movement.
Mental work.
All of this can help stabilize things.
But it doesn't replace guidance when the roots run deeper.
After my diagnosis, a long period of doctor's appointments, clinics and treatment attempts began.
I underwent behavioral therapy.
I experienced family constellations.
I tried hypnotherapy.
Took medication.
And then it was discontinued again.
It was not a linear development.
More like an odyssey.
When self-help reaches its limits
Self-help methods can be helpful.
But they don't always target that area,
where injuries occurred.
There are topics,
those who lack discipline
not with breath
It cannot be solved with positive thoughts.
Some things need a protected space.
Professional support.
Time.
And sometimes medical support as well.
Therapy is not a failure
For a long time I had the feeling,
I would have to manage it alone.
As if seeking professional help were an admission of weakness.
Today I see things differently.
Therapy was not a sign of failure for me.
But of responsibility.
Not every form of therapy was equally suitable.
Not every phase was helpful.
But the willingness to look deeper,
was crucial.
What true depth means
For me, true depth today means:
Not just regulating symptoms.
But rather, understand patterns.
It's not just about changing thoughts.
But rather look at biographical influences.
Not just functioning.
But feel.
And sometimes depth also means,
to acknowledge that healing is not perfect.
But gradually.
Today
Today I live a stable life.
Not because one method has solved everything.
But because many levels worked together:
Body.
Spirit.
Therapy.
Time.
And because I stopped at some point,
to search for the one solution.

Change doesn't just happen internally, but also through places…“
